In the first quarter of Oakville’s win over Wishkah Valley on Thursday, senior Courtney Price surpassed the 1,000-point mark.

Price is the second Acorn in as many seasons to reach 1,000 points, joining Eddie Klatush, who accomplished it last season.

After a brief pause to celebrate the feat, Price went on to have a dominant day, scoring 22 points and grabbing 20 rebounds. He also had his way on the defensive end, where he blocked four shots and logged four steals.

The Acorns (10-3, 4-0 Coastal 1B) remain unbeaten in league play and sit alone atop the league standings.
