Candace Rae Copley was the beloved daughter of Ernest Copley and Anna Shirley (Ragan) Copley. A lifelong Centralia resident, Candace graduated from Centralia College in 1967 and graduated from Olympia Technical College in 1983. She then embarked on a fulfilling career at the Department of Social and Health Services, where she dedicated 37 years as a computer programmer. In her free time, Candace enjoyed challenging her mind with crossword puzzles and delving into the pages of various books that captured her interest.
Candace is survived by her cousins Bobbie Walker, Robbie McCollum, Susan Ragan-Stuart, Harold Nelson Jr. and Thomas Nelson. Their lives were forever changed by her presence, and her memory will be cherished in their hearts forever.
Her kind heart and gentle spirit endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, knowing that she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
