The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce’s March Business After Hours event was held at Centralia High School on Thursday, March 21.

It was the first time a school district has hosted a Business After Hours event.

The night included a tour of the high school, light refreshments and entertainment provided by Centralia students.

“This is our opportunity to thank the community for their partnership with the district and an opportunity to meet our amazing principals and administrators,” Centralia Superintendent Lisa Grant said prior to the event.

The chamber of commerce puts together Business After Hours events at different locations each month.

“It is an opportunity for networking, learning more about the member businesses and organizations of the chamber and celebrating the good things happening within the community,” the chamber stated.
