Conservative livestreamer faces assault charge in Oregon

An arrest warrant has been issued for conservative livestreamer Thomas Allen, the Multnomah County District Attorney’s office confirmed.

An assault charge against the 37-year-old livestreamer, filed Monday by the DA’s office, stems from his actions during a Sept. 1 protest, officials said. He also faces charges of disorderly conduct and harassment.

“This office will not tolerate violence in this county, and we stand by our firm commitment to protect free speech in Multnomah County,” the DA’s office said.

The district attorney’s office also is pursuing a charge of violating probation.

Allen is accused of shoving a protester who was trying to block him from filming, according to the probable cause affidavit. The protester fell, hitting her head on a concrete pole, the affidavit said.

Allen — typically known by his online usernames Tommy4Trump420 and TommyBoi — has been a prominent figure at Portland protests, most recently outside The Sports Bra, where protesters clashed Sunday over transgender rights.

The confrontation came two weeks after another protest there, after a group of people were asked to leave the bar because they were wearing T-shirts from XX-XY Athletics, a brand that opposes allowing transgender women to compete in women’s sports.

Allen previously faced a misdemeanor charge accusing him of punching a left-wing protester during an Oct. 5, 2025, protest outside the ICE field office in South Portland. Allen pleaded guilty to second-degree disorderly conduct and separately agreed to pay $500 to the protester he allegedly punched.
