Weekend Women's College Basketball: Centralia Falls to Wenatchee Valley, Takes Down Yakima Valley

YAKIMA — The Blazers scored just eight points in the fourth quarter en route to a 67-61 loss to Wenatchee Valley before taking down Edmonds and host Yakima Valley here in a NWAC non-regional women’s basketball action.

Caitlin Yenne led Centralia with 14 points on Friday against Wenatchee. Piper Cai tallied 13 points and Lindsey Nurmi was also in double digits with 10 points. Selena Cudney led the Blazers with nine rebounds.



Centralia bounced back on Saturday with a 90-61 win against Edmonds and an 87-84 win against Yakima Valley on Sunday.

Centralia (2-1) travels to Bellevue on Thursday for a non-regional game.
