SATSOP — Rochester’s Shelby Baird shot a 58 to lead the Warriors, but it wasn’t enough as Montesano won 182-247 in a nonleague girls golf match at Oaks Ridge Golf Course here on Tuesday.
Allison Beagley fired a 61 and Elizabeth Miller and Emma Green each shot a 64. Alex Anderson rounded out the Warriors with a 68.
Montesano’s Macy Wecker earned medalist honors with a 42 and Mylania Parker and Glory Grubb tied for second with a 46.
Rochester (0-1) travels to Newaukum Valley Golf Course to face W.F. West next Wednesday.
