UNIVERSITY PLACE — W.F. West’s Ashley Werner finished 11th and Ellie Bunker placed 15th at the State 2A/1A girls bowling championships here on Friday.
Werner bowled an even 1,000, with games of 147, 178, 173, 152, 178 and 172. Bunker rolled a 981, with games of 147, 180, 142, 153, 176 and 183.
Mark Morris’ Brooklyn Boudreau won the individual trophy, bowling a 1,298 for her six games. Black Hills’ Grace Gibbs finished second (1,136) and Bremerton’s Hannah Sutton finished third (1,135).
