TOLEDO — The Indians ended the regular season on a high note here Friday, topping Mossyrock 52-20 in SWW 2B League River Division football action.

The win means the Indians finish second in the River Division, and host the No. 3 team from the Coastal Division — Raymond — in the crossover round.

Toledo ran for 453 yards in the win, with Davin Kinsman leading the way with 15 carries for 180 yards. Duke Schaplow (11 carries for 117 yards) and Trey Rego (11 for 107) also hit triple digits.

“We played pretty well over. We had some things to clean up — we gave up too many yards, and put the ball on the ground too many times,” Toledo coach Mike Christensen said. “We’ve had over 500 yards the last two weeks against stout defenses, so I’m happy with the way we’re playing up front.”

Kinsman scored twice, on 34- and 68-yard runs, and Rego scored on 5- and 4-yard runs. Schaplow ran in a pair of scores and tossed a 15-yard touchdown to Miguel Soto.

Evan Gootgeld threw touchdown passes to Aiden Weist and Tevita Stajduhar, and Tryn Thompson added a 31-yard rushing touchdown for Mossyrock.

The Vikings finish the season with a 3-6 record.

Toledo hosts Raymond (4-5) on Thursday night in Kelso. The winner advances to the State 2B playoffs.
