PUYALLUP — Max Smith scored three touchdowns and the Titan defense held Chief Leschi to just minus-6 yards of offense in a 52-0 win in a SWW 2B Coastal Division football game here on Friday night.

Max Smith had five carries for 69 yards and a touchdown and returned two kickoffs for a score. Kollin Jurek added 91 yards on six carries and two touchdowns.

Logan Walker was 1-of-2 passing for two yards and ran in a touchdown, but was injured in the first quarter with a broken collarbone.

Landin Isaksen caught the lone pass for two yards for PWV.

“We played good. Everybody had a good game. Once again, Max Smith dominated all aspects of the game,” PWV coach Josh Fluke said. “Kollin Jurek had one hell of a game too.”

Fluke also highlighted Tyler Adkins, who came in for the injured Walker and ran the Titan offense well. He also noted the performance of Andrew Mitten at defensive end.

Smith returned the opening kickoff for an 85-yard touchdown return. Walker punched in a score on a 5-yard run and Smith ran in another score from 16 yards out for a 21-0 lead after one quarter.

Jurek scored on a 12-yard run to begin the second quarter and followed it up with a 34-yard touchdown scamper.

Mitten sacked Chief Leschi in the end zone for a safety and Smith returned the ensuing punt 60-yards for a 45-0 lead at halftime.

Isaksen ran in a 32-yard touchdown to complete the scoring in the third quarter.

The Warriors had minus-34 yards rushing against the Titans.

PWV (3-2, 2-0) hosts Baker, Oregon, next Friday in Pe Ell at 7 p.m. in a non-league game.
