VANCOUVER — Hudson’s Bay racked up 255 yards on the ground, sprinting past Rochester 44-8 in nonleague football action here on Friday night.
Akilotoa Kamatule had three touchdowns on the ground for Hudson’s Bay, including a 3-yard run, a 4-yard run and an 18-yard run. Marco Cadiz added a 2-yard score, and Nathan Newo added a 23-yard run. Hudson’s Bay also ran back an interception for a touchdown and knocked through a 27-yard field goal.
Rochester’s lone score came on a 47-yard touchdown pass from Bryce Lollar to Patrick Riley.
The Warriors managed six first downs and 131 yards of total offense.
“It’s a work in progress,” Rochester coach Mark Smith said. “We just have to get better and work on the small details.”
Rochester (0-2) hosts Charles Wright Academy in another nonleague contest Friday.
