2A Football: Centralia Rolls Past Rochester

ROCHESTER — The Tigers scored 23 points in the second quarter to cruise to a 37-13 win against Rochester in an Evergreen 2A Conference football game here on Friday night.

Centralia’s Braidyn Hoyt had 93 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries. Chase Sobolesky-Reynolds had 154 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries.

Quarterback Cameron Erickson was 3 of 11 passing for 58 yards and two touchdowns. Cyrstian Bean had one catch for 18 yards and score and Derek Beairsto caught one pass for 11 yards and a score.



Tristen Johnson had 36 yards on 11 carries to lead the Warriors. Landon Hawes was 13 of 18 passing for 175 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Daniel May caught three passes for 90 yards and two touchdowns and Talon Betts had six catches for 46 yards.

Centralia (5-2, 2-1) travels to Chehalis for the annual Swamp Cup game next Friday. Rochester (1-6, 0-3) hits the road to take on Aberdeen next Friday.
