Corrections: May 24

Posted

• In a story about the Chehalis Basin Flood Authority in the May 21 issue of The Chronicle, a quote detailing concerns about superfluous “administrative overhead” costs from state agencies was erroneously attributed to Ron Averill, the Centralia representative on the Flood Authority. In actuality, Rob Hill, Centralia city manager, raised the issue at the meeting. Hill was sitting in for Averill at the Flood Authority meeting and the corresponding name placard was not changed to reflect Averill’s absence. Averill told The Chronicle on Monday that he stands by Hill’s statement.

• In a story about the recent sale of the Chehalis Theater in the May 21 edition of The Chronicle, the name of new owner Ralph Hubbert was misspelled.
