A story in the June 27 edition of The Chronicle titled “City of Chehalis, Fire District 6 to Fund Study on Feasibility of Annexation” did not make clear that the tax levy paid by residents of Fire District 6 and the one paid by residents of the City of Chehalis for services that include fire and emergency medical services listed in the article are the current rates. Any changes to local levies as a result of possible annexation are not known at this time.
