Letter: Why Weren’t Political Parties Included in News Item?

Posted

Your Republican-leaning bias is showing more and more.

In the Dec. 16 edition, you wrote of Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler as Republican in one article that was next to another article about her and another representative and a senator. It’s odd — and telling — that nowhere in the second article do you mention that the other rep and the senator are Democrats.

You might want to keep your journalistic bias in the opinion page and out of your “factual” reporting.
