Our Toledo City Council held a water consumption workshop after the March 4 council meeting. However, no decisions were made regarding the leak program or annualizing allotments.
The council may, in the future, consider an annual rebate for those customers charged with overages that consume less than 48,000 gallons per year.
Position 4 council member displayed emotionally charged, fake outrage regarding private property water leaks and personally receiving financial relief from the leak program. Hopefully, a work in progress.
