Letter to the Editor: Politicians Can’t Do Anything About Global Warming

Posted

Gov. Jay Inslee presented himself as the only candidate who will make defeating climate change (i.e., global warming) our nation’s No. 1 priority. His mission has already been completed naturally without his help.

Global warming, which might cause catastrophe by overheating the Earth, died naturally in 1990 A.D. when the sun switched from “continued warming” to “don’t get any warmer,” and then to a “gradual reduction in sun total solar irradiance” (TSI).

Climate changed from global warming to global cooling, and jumped into the 19th mini-ice-age in the last seven-year pause.

It turns out that the sun heat, TSI, goes through an about 200-year cycle where the magnitude of heat change is about one-half percent of (4.18 times 10 raised to the 24th power) joules, equivalently 5 million nuke explosions of 1 million tons (of TNT) each in one year; this is very consequential. All nations’ nukes sum to less than 1000 megatons in yield.

It is good for people to understand that the thermostat for Earth heat is actually located in the sun, the cosmic ray charged particles from supernova exploding stars, the sun’s heliosphere with its charged particles and electromagnetic fields, Earth’s EM fields, and Earth’s atmospheric reaction to surviving cosmic rays by the forming of low wet clouds.

These wet clouds reflect sun energy back out into space without warming Earth. Politicians can’t do anything to affect the Earth thermostat, and we thank God for that.

The sun and Earth haven’t overheated in 4 billion years, ergo I can word process this letter.

Antarctic ice cores (with 800,000 years record) show that when the sun warms up from a low in its heat cycle (estimated at  2060-plus), the Earth and oceans always warm up first and later carbon dioxide may increase.

Also, there is no long-term correlation of carbon dioxide levels in the air with Earth’s annual average temperature. These characteristics mean that only the sun can cause global warming or cooling, not carbon dioxide. The sun is now putting out less heat than in 1990 A.D. so the Earth cannot overheat.  Carbon dioxide contributes no warmth energy.

Carbon dioxide can do nothing to modify global warming or climate change, ergo there is no evil attached to carbon based fuels. It’s harmful to try reducing carbon dioxide emissions. It follows that carbon taxes on fuels is another fraud. Our present energy is surely clean enough.

Solar energy can be collected only six hours a day, so it fails the “always available” test.  Wind blows when it wants to and is unreliable. Germany found it had to have 100 percent backup for its wind and solar by using coal-fired power plants. Solar and wind power is so expensive many German folks can’t afford it and were kicked off the grid.

Inslee wants this for the USA? No thanks Jay Bob. Hydropower gives renewable and clean energy, yet Inslee wants to take out dams; it’s river-rock clever.
