Another year has come and gone. The hot tub at the Centralia Community Pool at Thorbecke’s Athletic Club still looks like a cesspool. After many months of lack of interest and lack of maintenance and a lot of empty start dates, the hot tub was finally shut down by the health department.
Finally in August, a notice was posted at the desk regarding the upcoming remodeling of the hot tub, facts and figures included. The start date was to be in mid September and completion in approximately five weeks. Well, it is now the beginning of the new year and nothing has been accomplished.
It’s time for the Centralia School Board to step up to the plate and move forward with this project. No more talking, just a lot of action.
