We are fortunate to have The Chronicle in our community, in fact it’s one of the things that makes us a strong, connected community!
Oh sure, we can get more national and international news from other sources, but for thorough, well-rounded local news and information, you can’t beat a real community newspaper.
I can’t imagine trying to do my job well without The Chronicle, and it you care about local schools, including their sports and other events — city, county, and other government issues; service clubs, churches, and other volunteer groups; or local entertainment, among countless other community activities — then just try to imagine how much harder it would be to succeed in telling and finding out about them without The Chronicle.
If you run a local business or shop locally (you should!), try to imagine the loss of the valuable advertising outlet that a community newspaper represents.
Personally, I happen to enjoy subscribing and holding the paper in my hands so I can put it down and easily come back to it later if I want. But I also take advantage of The Chronicle’s website and can get some of the same content that way.
In any case I really treasure the news and other features that are provided by a healthy community newspaper. Please support The Chronicle, the most well-rounded source for covering our common interests in this community.
