Ronald Ernest Frost was born May 3, 1934, in Aberdeen, Wash., to Spencer and Lucille Frost. He passed away on March 9, 2018, at home surrounded by his family. Ron grew up in Oakville, Wash., and graduated from Oakville High School. After his graduation, Ron enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served as an airplane mechanic for 20 years. Ron retired from the Air Force in 1972, with the rank of master sergeant. He began his second career in Wenatchee, Wash., at Wells and Wade Hardware. During this time, Ron had an active social life that including dancing, golfing and pinochle with friends.
Among his friends, Ron found someone special, her name was Leah. Ron and Leah were married in 1981. Together, they retired from work and moved to Rochester, Wash. They enjoyed retirement, spending time with friends and family, becoming snowbirds and loving the Arizona winters. Ron is survived by his two brothers; his children; grandchildren; and great grandchildren. At Ron’s request, there will be no funeral service.
