Roderick Dane Johnson, age 46, of Onalaksa, Washington, passed away June 27, 2015. He was born in Centralia, Washington on April, 29, 1969 to parents Dennis and Teresa (Gish) Johnson.

Rod graduated from Onalaksa High School in 1987. During his life, he worked hard as a logger and diesel mechanic for B&M Logging. He loved to talk baseball with his grandma and be with family. As a child, he spent most of his summers up at Walupt Lake camping with his family.

Rod was a great man, a loving son, brother, nephew, uncle and grandson. His contagious smile could light up a room and he was liked by everyone he met.  Rod was a hard worker and a loyal friend. He also had the kindest heart and will be greatly missed.

We never met a person that he did not get along with or make smile. He was always there for you with a kind heart. Heaven gained another angel and now he is up there with grandma talking baseball and logging with Casey.

He is survived by his parents, Dennis and Teresa (Gish) Johnson; sisters, Patricia (Tony) Kinswa and Diana Gish; nephews, Randy and Jake Kinswa; niece, Jessica Ullmann; and numerous family and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jackson Prairie Church, 4224 Jackson Hwy, Chehalis, WA 98532 with a potluck reception to follow.
