Pierre Francis Beaulieu

Pierre Francis Beaulieu passed away on Monday, Nov. 6, at the age of 71.

He loved working in the yard and working in his shop with his dog, Booker. He also loved four-wheeling at the sand dunes, and jeeping with his son, Lee, and his friends. Most of all, though, he loved spending time with his family and attending his grandkids’ sporting events.

Pierre had a great sense of humor, and was the biggest fan of his own jokes. He had a huge heart and always made sure his family was taken care of.

Pierre was born Aug. 19, 1946, to Mearuice and Anita Beaulieu in Tacoma. He moved to Raymond, Wash., when he was two years old, and graduated from Raymond High School in 1966.

He married Pam Walde on April 21, 1979, and the couple had two children, Lee and Ashley.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and worked in the Weyerhaeuser shake mill in Raymond for several years until it closed, and he received his Associate’s degree from Grays Harbor College in 1981. He worked various jobs before he was hired at Sorensen Transport in Chehalis in 1988, where he worked until he retired earlier this year.

He is survived by his wife, Pam; his son Lee Beaulieu (Lindsey), and daughter

Ashley Babka (Brent); his five grandchildren, Chance, Gracie, Cooper, Evelyn and Beau; his brother, Joe Beaulieu;  and his sister, Denise Conner (Max).

Memorial donations can be made to the Adna Scholarship Foundation, P.O. Box 118, Adna, WA, 98522. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, at 1 p.m., in the Adna High School commons, with a reception to follow at the Sandrini gym.
