Marian (Borte) Long was born July 11, 1954 and died Sept. 5, 2017, at Harborview Medical Center. She was the seventh living child of Leo H. Borte and Mary Magdalen (Steffen) Borte.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmie E. Long; stepdaughter, Betty Bein of Arizona; siblings, Barbara Middaugh, Rose Marie Borte, Joseph Borte, James (Brenda) Borte, Stephen (Anjali) Borte, Donna King, Carol Borte, Linda (Mike) Huse, Michael Borte, Joan Olsen and Thomas (Denise) Borte; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Marian was well known for her great laugh and garage saling. Marian never met a stranger in her entire life.
Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, with Memorial Mass to follow at St. Mary Catholic Church, in Centralia. A reception will follow at the parish hall. Burial will follow the reception at St. Francis Xavier Mission Cemetery, Toledo, Wash.
