Dancing Kay was called home to be with the Lord and family members who have gone before her. It is the place where everyone has perfect memories, perfect health and they can dance all day long.

Kay was preceded in death by her husband, George Andrews; parents, Nettie and Jim Colwell; father, Anthony Zamiski; brothers, Joe Zamiski-Calwell and John Zamiski; brother-in-law, Don Lauber; sister-in-law, Adeline Zamiski-Calwell; nephew, Perry Zamiski-Calwell; and her dance partner, Joaquin Lopez.

She is survived by her sisters, Joyce Zamiski-Lauber, Jean (Ed Reinert) Zamiski and Frances (Ken) Zamiski Marsden, all of Edmonton, Alberta and Mary Ellen DeMaere; sisters-in-law, Donna Zamiski of Calgary and Anna Shabitz of Ukriane; stepchildren,  Dr. Mike  (Ute Sherbow) Andrews of Oregon, Sue Ann (Glen)   Johnson of Seattle, Wash., and Dr. Terry (Tim) O’Reilly of Phoenix, Ariz., and their families; as well as good and longtime family friend, Mike Gilligan. Kay is also survived by her nieces and nephews and their families, Audrey  Calwell-Wanamaker, Janet Lauber, Donna Lauber (Frank) Hodge, Shannon Lauber, Kelly (Dawn) Zamiski, Kary Zamiski, Cathy Marsden-Belfour, Clayton Marsden, Yaroslav (Halya) Shabitz and Oksana (Viktor) Shabitz-Stebily; and her many dance students, whom she taught over the course of the last 40 plus years.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Chris Yarter and Dr. D. Waggoner for their excellent care; the skilled nursing staff at Sharon Care Center; Kim and Mike and their staff at Serenity Care Adult Family Home in Centralia, for the excellent care and compassion given to Kay; the Assured Hospice Team; and Chaplin Tom Bradshaw, who brought so much comfort and peace to Kay’s world. Also, thanks to the awesome family team who have been there at the drop of a hat both in word and in deed.  You’re the best!

A celebration of Kay’s life will be held at 1 p.m., May 19, 2018, at Sticklin Funeral Chapel, 1437 S. Gold St., Centralia, Wash., with Reverend Tom Bradshaw officiating. A reception in Kay’s honor will take place immediately following the service in the Chapel’s Hospitality Room. Kay’s ashes will be interred in the family plots at Mirror Landing/Smith Alberta, Canada in a ceremony this summer, at a date to be announced later.

In lieu of floral tributes, if friends so desire, they may make a contribution to the charity of their choice.
