Connette Lorraine Brookings Westley

Connette was the second of four children born to Dolores and Charles Brookings. She was born Aug. 13, 1949, in Great Falls, Montana. The family moved to Vaughn in 1958. Connette was the only girl in her class until 1963. She was a tomboy and spent most of her time riding horses. She attended Simms High School from 1964 to 1968.

Connette had two daughters, Kari and Jami. Her family moved to Billings in 1974, where she worked as a receptionist until she divorced in 1986. She moved to Chehalis, Washington in 1997 and married Bill Westley in 2003. They lived in Mossyrock, Washington until her death June 25, 2015.

Connette enjoyed the many types of jobs she worked over the years. She also taught Sunday school for many years and loved children. She enjoyed crocheting, painting and gardening.

Connette is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by daughters, Kari LeBarron, husband Eugene and their children, Lindsey, Lauren, and Jacob of Elberton, Georgia and Jami Nicotera, her husband Kevin and their children, Joey and Kelsi from Diamondville, Wyoming; Bill’s sons, Jeff, Scott and Jim Westley; and four grandchildren, Josh, Erin, Elissa and JJ of Centralia, Washington; brothers, Ron Brookings, his wife Dixie of Sun River, Montana and Doug Brookings of Great Falls, Montana; sisters, Denise Brandner, her husband Jim Brandner of Chehalis, Washington and Carlee McClintick of  Nampa, Idaho; and nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

She will be missed by friends and family.
