Cheyllyn (Chey) Ranae Collinsworth

Posted

On May 17, 2017, our beloved Cheyllyn (Chey) Ranae Collinsworth was called to Heaven to become a beautiful angel.

Cheyllyn was born to Deborah and Bradley Collinsworth Aug. 25, 1998 in Olympia, Wash., and lived in Centralia all her life.

Cheyllyn was set to graduate in the top 25 from Centralia High School, class of 2017, with honors. She was going to attend Central Washington University in the fall to fulfill her dream of becoming an elementary school teacher, with a minor in special education.  She loved her family dearly and loved all people. Everywhere Chey went she shined her light; she lived to brighten other people’s day no matter the kind of day she was having.  Chey was also a very giving person and her final generous act was to give the gift of sight through cornea (eye) donation.  The most important thing to her was her education and spending as much time as possible with friends and family.

Cheyllyn is survived by her mother, Deborah Collinsworth and stepfather, Robert Calvert, along with two stepsisters, Rachel and Katie Calvert; father, Bradley and wife Dianna Collinsworth.  Cheyllyn adored her niece, Lillian Kroll. She is also survived by her Nawna (aunt) Julie and Uncle Larry Weese; aunt Kim (Rick) Pennington and cousin, Everett Pennington; aunt Joan Celentano; grandmother, Linda Celentano; grandfather, Paul Collinsworth; adopted grandparents, Keith and Linda Drop; and adopted aunt, Debbie (Steve) Anderson; along with numerous cousins and other adopted family.  Cheyllyn was preceded in death by her grandmother, Molly (Hundley) Heniken; Papa John Celentano; and grandmother Edith Collinsworth.

A memorial service will be held May 31, 2017 at 3 p.m. at the Centralia Community Church of God, 3320 Borst Avenue, Centralia, WA 98531.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dollars for Scholars, PO Box 1104, Centralia WA 98531 in memory of Cheyllyn.
