Brian Walter Raschke, 21, was called to heaven May 13, 2005 after a courageous two and a half year battle with cancer. He was born in Olympia, WA on June 10, 1983 and lived in Adna his entire life.

Brian is survived by parents Larry Raschke, of Adna and Linda Raschke, of Chehalis, his sisters Jenny Minkoff, of Adna and Tami Fluke, of Frances, brothers-in-law, Gary Minkoff and Josh Fluke, as well as, nephews Tyler, Trevor, and Kolten. He will be missed by his grandparents Jack and Blanche Raschke and Ernie and Mary Louise Rothlin, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Brian's life was blessed with two years of caring support and love from his close friend Brittany Ahmann.

Brian graduated from St. Joseph School in eighth grade and then moved on to Adna High School. He grew up on a diary farm where he was involved in 4H. Brian treasured the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, camping, and taking rides in his Chevelle listening to country music. Brian loved poker and games especially when he was winning. Brian was a thrill seeker who loved the excitement of extreme adventure surprising no one when he took up sports, such as bull riding and snowboarding. However, one of his biggest loves was sitting around a bonfire or in a living room sharing stories with friends or whoever else would listen. His zest for life, humor and laughter was contagious with a hug and warm smile for his family and friends.

Brian condensed a lifetime of experiences into his brief twenty-one years of life.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Brian Raschke Memorial Fund at Venture Bank, PO Box 334, Centralia, WA. Funds will support charities close to Brian's heart.
