Single-Vehicle Crash Delays Traffic Between Bucoda and Tenino for 6 Hours

State Route 507 between Bucoda and Tenino reopened about 1 p.m. Monday after a single-vehicle crash closed the road in both directions for six hours, according to the Washington State Patrol.
About 7:15 a.m. Monday, a small truck hauling propane drove off the road and tipped on its side. The propane did not leak and the driver was taken to Providence Centralia Hospital, Trooper Guy Gill said.
Officials with the state Department of Transportation also responded to the site, he said.

The crash happened near 180th Avenue Southeast. Traffic through the area was affected for about six hours.
"It's a delicate process when you're dealing with propane," Gill said. "It has to be done correctly and it takes time to do it right."
