Centralia City Light has scheduled a power outage to take place on Sunday from 10 a.m. until about 5:30 p.m.
The power outage will impact Reynolds Road and all connecting streets, along with the area north of the Skookumchuck River.
The Reynolds Road area will be the first to experience the outage.
By mid-afternoon, the North Pearl Street and Highway 507 areas north of the Skookumchuck River and all connecting streets will be included.
The outage will allow crews to safely make repairs to the distribution system and to prepare for transfer of power to a new substation.
The new substation will go into service on July 1 and will provide additional service reliability and capability for future energy expansion, according to Centralia City Light.
