After two days of auditions with 30 acts, 19 finalists will perform at this year’s Lewis County Youth Talent Show. President of the Historic Fox Theatre Restorations Scott White said some of the unique talents that will be performed this year are from gymnasts, poets and musicians who will perform original music.

“There are a lot of young people in this community that are extremely talented,” White said.

This year’s youngest performer, Londyn Beaber, is a 5-year-old from Centralia who will perform a vocal piece. Faith Duffy, a 16-year-old from Centralia, and Finny Stewart, a 17-year-old from Onalaska, both have a talent of poetry reading. There will also be a group vocal from the “Singing Sisters,” a singing group from Centralia between the ages of 15 and 18.

The theater will award $250 for first place, $100 for second place and $50 for third place. Proceeds from the talent show will contribute to Centralia’s Historic Fox Theatre restoration and the missions of the Centralia-Chehalis Kiwanis and Soroptimist Clubs.

White said they are really thankful to Liberty Theater for hosting the talent show while the Fox Theatre is being restored. White also encourages people in the community to buy tickets and come to this year’s talent show.

The talent show will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 13 at at the Liberty Theater. Tickets are available at Holley’s Place, Book ‘n’ Brush and on the Fox Theatre website, www.centraliafoxtheatre.com/
