The Lewis County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate after a man reportedly drowned Wednesday in Mineral Lake.
Deputies were dispatched at 3:54 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a drowning at Mineral Lake in Mineral. They contacted a woman adrift in a boat who said the victim, a 54-year-old man from Mineral, went into the water and was presumed to have drowned.
Deputies checked the area and were not immediately able to find the man’s body, according to the Sheriff’s Office. They are continuing to search the area.
The man’s name has not yet been released.
