Lewis County Nonprofits Receive Grant Funding From Community Foundation of South Puget Sound

Six Lewis County nonprofit organizations have been awarded $45,500 in grant funding from the Community Foundation of South Puget Sound through its discretionary grants program. 

The organizations that received funding are Cispus Learning Center, Fire Mountain Arts Council, Health and Hope Medical Outreach, Lewis County Autism Coalition, Our Literacy Council and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s Centralia and Chehalis Conference, a press release from the Foundation said. 

According to the release, Cispus will fund a coordinator position and operating support for the Morton Teen Center, the Fire Mountain Arts Council will support the 2017 children’s theater programs, the Lewis County Autism Coalition’s funding will underwrite its 2017 youth and family programming, Our Literacy Council’s grant will be used to expand its volunteer program with support operations and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul will use the grant to provide basic needs assistance to residents.
