The Washington Trust for Historic Preservation awarded the Historic Fox Theatre Restorations nonprofit $2,000 toward restoring the front entry.
The money comes from the Valerie Sivinski Fund, an annual grant program that provides funds for organizations working on historic preservation projects in Washington.Â
The grant program awards up to $2,000 for each organization. The money is for improvements to the front of the Fox Theatre building, specifically the ticket booth, according to Washington Trust For Historic Preservation’s website.
