Centralia’s historic Borst Home, schoolhouse, carriage house and gardens will be open for visitors from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 4, coinciding with Centralia’s Summerfest.
Volunteers and living historians will be onsite giving tours and answering questions. They will also give informal presentations about Pioneer Independence Day.The Borst Home is open once a month from spring to fall. Admission is free, but donations are accepted.
