Lewis County Commissioner Edna Fund has been appointed as the county’s director on the governing board of the Timberlands Regional Support Network, an agency providing mental health services in Lewis, Pacific and Wahkiakum counties.

Commissioner Gary Stamper will serve as the alternate, as directed during a 3-0 vote of the county commission on Monday.

The appointments fulfill a requirement that each county in the network appoint people to represent their respective county on the board.

The appointments are retroactive to March 1 and run through Dec. 31, 2016. Previously, former county commissioner Ron Averill served on the board, representing Lewis County, with Fund serving as the alternate.
