Dennis Blum, who has designed and built haunted houses for nearly twenty years, shows off one of the rooms at the haunted "Motel 13" in Fort Borst Park that will open today at 5 p.m. Entry is free, but donations are encouraged, the proceeds from which will go to the Lewis County Animal Shelter and the Centralia Police Department "Shop with a Cop" program.

The 19th annual Borst Park Haunted House opens for fright tonight from 5 to 9 p.m. The haunting continues Saturday from 3 to 9 p.m., and then opens again next Thursday, Oct. 27 through Monday, Oct. 31.
