A Camas teen reported missing earlier this month was found dead in Chehalis Friday, according to a statement from his family on Facebook.
“Cole has been found and God has a new angel in his choir,” the message reads.
Cole Burbank, 16, was reported missing April 17.
According to the Chehalis Police Department, a black Honda Accord associated with the missing teen was found Friday evening in the parking lot of in the 1500 block of Louisiana Avenue in Chehalis.
A body of a young male was found inside. Foul play is not suspected, according to the Chehalis Police Department. Police from the Camas area also responded to the scene.
Police and the Lewis County Coroner’s Office haven’t officially released an identity of the deceased subject. An autopsy is scheduled for today, according to the Chehalis Police Department.
