Cheese Days Begins in Toledo
Cheese Days, Toledo’s annual summer celebration, will run through Sunday.
The Toledo Lions Club spearheads the event, which includes a golf tournament, large garage sale, car show and unique traditions such as the frog jumping contest and free cheese sandwiches. A bazaar, parade and pizza-eating contest also make up the list of activities.

Bicyclists Coming this way for Annual STP Ride
Thousands of bicyclists will be pour into the Lewis County area Saturday for the 39th annual Seattle to Portland Bike Ride.
Some of the riders make the entire trip in one day, but others complete the ride on Sunday.
Key midpoint stops are Centralia College and Recreation Park, Chehalis.
The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce in the event, organizing meals, private housing and entertainment for the riders.
