Chehalis Girl Scout to Throw First Pitch at Mariners Game as Top Cookie Seller

Posted

Chehalis Girl Scout Arianna Vincent will throw the first pitch at Safeco Field on Sunday when the Seattle Mariners take on the Houston Astros.

This sixth-grader was chosen from thousands of Western Washington Girls Scouts because she sold the most cookies in 2017 with 3,438 packages sold.

“Arianna is very excited about the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at the Girl Scout Day with the Mariners on Sunday’s game,” the press release from the Western Washington Girl Scouts said.

All money spent on Girl Scout cookies stays local to support Girl Scout programs in the community, a press release from the Western Washington Girl Scouts said. The cookie program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world.
