Ballots to Be Mailed for February Special Election

The Lewis County Auditor’s Office will mail 30,010 ballots Wednesday to registered voters in Lewis County for the Feb. 11 special election. 

Voters in the following districts should expect a ballot: Adna School District, Castle Rock School District, Centralia School District, Chehalis School District, Eatonville School District, Morton School District, Oakville School District, Pe Ell School District, Rochester School District, Fire District 4 in Morton, Fire District 18 in Glenoma and the City of Morton. A total of 226 military and overseas ballots were mailed January 10.

Ballots should begin arriving in mailboxes the week of January 27-31. If ballot packets have not been received ten (10) days after the above mailing date, voters may receive a replacement ballot.

Completed ballots must be postmarked on or before February 11th. 

The Auditor’s Office encourages voters to deposit their ballots early into any ballot drop box to ensure the ballot is counted. Drop box locations are open 18 days prior to every election.
