A fire in a 30-foot recreational vehicle in Centralia left significant damage Wednesday night but injured no one.

When fire crews responded at 9:55 p.m. to 322 Kearney Street, the RV was fully engulfed in flames, according to a Riverside Fire Authority press release. The RV was located in the back of the property, and was surrounded by a high fence, which made it difficult for fire crews to access it.

The fire was reported by neighbors and an individual in a passing car.

Fire crews were on scene for about two and half hours fully extinguishing the fire and investigating it, according to the release. The fire was contained to the travel trailer, and no other structures surrounding the RV were damaged.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation by Riverside Fire Authority and the Chehalis Fire Department.
