Wolf Haven in Tenino to Debut Reservation System

Posted

Wolf Haven International in Tenino will begin using a reservation system for visits to the sanctuary on June 1.

Visitors can reserve time online at wolfhaven.org or by calling (800) 448-9653, ext. 210.

The reservation system will be better for the wolves, because it will reduce the number of guided visits offered each week and will provide more downtime for the animals, according to the sanctuary.

Reservations also allow the organization to maintain a predictable number of guests per visit, with groups of 20 visitors or less.

“We believe that a reservation system will enable Wolf Haven to remain committed to providing the highest level of care possible for our resident wolves, while still giving people the chance to see and learn more about these magnificent animals,” said Wolf Haven board president John Sleeter in a statement.

Wolf Haven’s mission is “to conserve and protect wolves and their habitat.”

It is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and is accredited by the American Sanctuary Association.
