Firefighters responded to a call of a fire to a detached garage on the 2500 block of Little Hanaford Road at 8:20 a.m. Saturday, according to Riverside Fire Authority. When crews arrived, the garage was fully engulfed in flames.
The fire, which was called in by a neighbor who saw smoke, destroyed the garage as well as the full-sized Ford pickup truck parked inside, according to Riverside Fire Authority. There were no reported injuries.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire and keep it from extending to the woods and vegetation nearby, according to Riverside Fire Authority. Crews were on scene for about two hours. The cause of the fire is still unclear; however, it appears to be accidental.
