A benefit to raise money for an electric outdoor wheelchair for a Centralia teen who was left paralyzed from the waist down following a rollover accident is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 28.

Brandin Spare, 18, was injured in a single-vehicle rollover accident on Reynolds Avenue in Centralia in November. The wheelchair designed for the outdoors will help Spare to be able to do activities he enjoys like hunting and fishing.

A spaghetti dinner is scheduled for 4 p.m. Plates for adults cost $10, and plates for children 10 years old and younger are $5. A live auction will start at 5:30 p.m. The benefit is being held at the Fords Prairie Grange, 2640 W. Reynolds Avenue, Centralia.

To donate items for the auction or to make a cash donation call Deanne Scherer at (360) 736-0463 or (360) 508-8228, or Jeff Scherer at (360) 508-8227.
