Onalaska Legion Post to Give Awards to Anglers With Biggest Fish at Carlisle Lake

Richard C. Emigh American Legion Post 508, Onalaska, will be presenting awards to children 16 and under who catch the largest fish at Onalaska’s Carlisle Lake Saturday, June 6.

This is not a contest or a derby, and there is no entry fee. All that is required is that individuals come to Carlisle Lake and go fishing between 9 a.m and 3 p.m.

After the awards are made at 3 p.m., a flag retirement ceremony (proper disposal of American flags) will be put on by American Legion Post 508.



People can fish at Carlisle Lake this day without a license.
