A 51-year-old Winlock man who was already in custody at the King County Jail was brought to Lewis County this week on an arrest warrant and charged Thursday with two counts of second-degree rape, one count of threatening to kill, and two counts of violating a court order.

Leo B. Bunker was ordered to be held in the Lewis County Jail on a $200,000 bond.

According to prosecutors, Bunker has a 2008 federal conviction for simple possession of pseudoephedrine, an active ingredient in cold medicine that is also used in the production of methamphetamine.

Prosecutors are not exactly sure why he was in the King County Jail, but court papers show Bunker may have violated his parole following the 2008 conviction.

Bunker is accused of raping a woman on "multiple occasions" last October and November after the two had reunited through the online social networking site Facebook, according to court documents.

Bunker has not entered pleas yet to the charges.

He will be arraigned Thursday.
