County Health Department to Offer Free Vaccines

    Lewis County Public Health will expand its immunization days to help vaccinate as many people as possible, now that everyone is eligible for the vaccine.

    The clinic will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. today and Thursday, as well as Dec. 22 and Dec. 29.

    FluMist will be available to everyone. Those who not eligible for FluMist will be able to receive the vaccine via injection.

    All vaccinations will be free. The Lewis County Public Health Department is located at 360 N.W. North St. in Chehalis.

Chehalis Historic Walking Tour Set for Saturday

    The Chehalis Community Renaissance Team will host a walking tour of historic downtown Chehalis on Saturday beginning at the Lewis County Historical Museum.

    The museum will be accepting donations before the tour starts at 11 a.m. All donations will go to the Chehalis Foundation for the Chehalis Renaissance.

    Participants will go on a walk through Chehalis and learn more about the historical significance of the city and key figures.

    Light refreshments will be provided.
