A Chehalis man was jailed Friday morning after deputies said he illegally entered into a Winlock home to confront his ex-girlfriend and slashed her vehicle’s tires.

Sean M. Riley, 23, was booked into the Lewis County Jail after a reported incident at 9:29 Friday morning at a home on Allman Road in Winlock in which he allegedly confronted his ex-girlfriend and punched a man. Lewis County Chief Deputy Stacy Brown said Riley went to a home where his 23-year-old ex-girlfriend was at when he saw her getting out of bed and became angry.

He then went into the home without permission and threw down a television on his way to find her, according to deputies. Riley allegedly punched the male victim, and the woman asked for a neighbor’s help to separate the two.

Deputies say Riley then stomped on the television and broke it, then went to his vehicle, grabbed an object and slashed tires on both his ex-girlfriend’s and the man’s vehicles.

Deputies contacted Riley later Friday, arrested him and booked him into the Lewis County Jail. According to Chief Deputy Brown, both males involved in the incident are longtime friends
