Speaker to Talk About ‘Eternal Life’
Aging, and all the things associated with it, will be the subject of a talk by speaker Mark Swinney at 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Chehalis.
Swinney will present a talk titled “Eternal life.”
“Claiming one’s identity as God’s offspring brings countless freedoms,” Swinney said. “As God’s spiritual creations, we don’t necessarily need to be slaves to time. We don’t need to wait to become fully who we are. Time doesn’t have the power to erode who we are, dilute our intelligence, or sap our strength.”
A practitioner and teacher of Christian Science healing, Swinney has devoted more than 25 years both to praying with people and empowering people to pray effectively for themselves. A prolific author, Swinney has more than 250 published articles addressing numerous facets of prayer and healing.
Swinney is a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. He travels from his home in Sandia Park, New Mexico.
