The fourth annual Leap the Levee 5K race is scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday at the Chehalis-Centralia Airport. Entries are $20 per person, include an event T-shirt and will go to benefit the Discover! Children’s Museum in Chehalis.
The top three finishers in both the men’s and women’s divisions will earn prizes. The course around the levee at the airport is certified to be an official 5K by USA Track & Field. A children’s race will take place on a shorter track beginning at 8:30 a.m. Entrants do not need to run the entire course to participate; walking or jogging is acceptable.
