Marianne’s love and gift for the craft was something she called G.I.A., or “God In Action.” She said, “I’m just a vessel.”

Marianne requested a casual outdoor living memorial barbecue, which was held about two weeks before her passing, with many friends and family attending. The family wants to thank everyone who sent flowers, brought food and donated money for the continuing care of her grandsons as well as all those who stayed with her day and night, she was never left alone to the very end. Marianne’s beloved dog, Bernie will remain with family.
